Frankenmuth Hund Platz in Memorial Park
A completely fenced in area with double gated entry, agility equipment, several benches, shaded areas, and poop bags. Free to use. Park is located inside a beautiful park featuring for non K-9 members of the family such as play grounds, sporting fields, horse shoe pits, and disk golf course.
DIRECTIONS: Off of M-83 (Main Street in Frankenmuth) go East on Tuscola. Park is less than one mile off M-83 on North side of the road. There is Plenty of free parking.*Hund Platz (Dog Park in German)
Park Township Dog Park
A separate small dog, large dog area, water fountains, play equipment, shade trees and benches, near the Holland State Park. For more information visit

Statler-Maloof dog park
A dog park located on the SE corner of Brys Park at Brys and Harper in St. Clair Shores and recently enlarged to 1.3 acres. Participants must buy electronic key fob to access. Annual pass costs $20 for residents and $30 for non-residents. For more info call 586-445-5350.
Woof Woods Dog Park
Two acres fenced area in Flushing, MI. Twelve acres of wooded trails. Agility course. Membership fee 35.00 per year,and 1.00 per visit. Open 9:00am to 9:00pm 365 days a year. For more information visit

EZ Dog Park and Training

Mt. Clemens Memorial Park
Michigan's first dog park opened June 1999 in a one-acre area within the Memorial Park; located on Groesbeck Highway near Cass in Detroit. Amenities include fencing, benches, trees, poop bags and dual water fountains - one each for dogs and humans.
Hines Drive D.O.G. park
A 4-acre fenced area with separate area for small/timid dogs in Westland, MI. Registration required. See

Lockman Park
Located on 12 Mile Road includes benches, trees, lights, parking, lights, trash, and water. The area is only fenced on one side but is not near busy streets. The park has drinking plenty of dogs evenings and Sunday mornings. Park open until 8 p.m.
Wagner Park
This park located just north of downtown Royal Oak has a lot to offer - an area where dogs can run off-leash and a play structure for the kids; area is only fenced on one side - the other three sides are near busy streets, so use with care. The Park is open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Meininger Park
This park offers tables, trees, lights, water, trash; a small area where dogs can play off leash, area is only fenced on one side - the other three sides are near streets, so use with care.
Behnke Memorial Dog Park
This park on Groesbeck Highway is opened from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. It is fenced and features benches, tables, handicap access, poop bags, trees, parking, lights, water, trash, shelter.
Orion Oaks Bark Park
The park is opened 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset. The park features a fence benches, tables, handicap access, poop bags, trees, parking, restrooms, trash cans, a portion of Lake Sixteen reserved for canine swimmers, wooded trails and fields on this 7-acre fenced area.A park pass required - a daily pass is available at the Lake Orion Twp office (open Monday – Friday), located on Joslyn Road south of the park or at Independence Oaks County Park (open daily). Fee for non-residents is $8/vehicle per day. Senior Citizens (62 and older) pay $2/vehicle per day. For more information visit

Balduck Park
"Unofficial" dog park located on Chandler Park Drive. The park is opened from dawn until dusk though there is usually a group of dog lovers usually gather between 4-6pm. The park has enclosed wooded trail, large field, lots of trees.
E-Z Dog Park and Training
Open 8am to 9pm daily The park near Brighton has 8 fenced-in acres with 3 separate park areas. Open from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. the park features benches, tables, pooper scoopers, parking, full agility course, drinking water source, pond for swimming with waterfall. Monthly fee, privately owned.
